6 Songs for the Storms

We've all got trials in our life and they're not fun. There are not many people who approach a trial thinking, “I can't wait to see what happens!” But the reality is God uses those trials to refine and shape us. Those times of testing make us stronger so when someone else is struggling, we can help them.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1: 3-4, NASB.) The journey to the end of the trial is painful. But once we reach the end, we emerge better and more like Christ.

God has promised, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; when you pass through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.” (Isaiah 43:2, NASB.) God is with us in the valleys as well as the hills. We're not in it alone when we're in the middle of trial; He is there with us, ready with His peace.

Now, that's easy to say when times are good. But when we're in the thick of a storm, it doesn't seem so simple. And that's where music can come in and remind us of the truths. Below are songs can help you through the storms.
